Seniors 2011

Summer is almost here and with it comes Senior portrait season.  Some of
the local schools require the yearbook
photos to be submitted before Labor Day!
So this year I want to reward those who
plan ahead--rising Seniors who book and complete their sessions with me in May and June will receive big incentives in their photo packages.
Call me for details--I've got a new number 770-971-0752 and my cell number 404 245 7540 still works.

I want to send my sincere congratulations to all those who are graduating this spring.  Best of luck to all of you!!

Tinted Images

I don't take any credit for this image, except to say that I love it.  The rendering is as elegant as the woman was--Coco Chanel.
I was thinking it would be fun to try to replicate some of these older images...get a hair stylist and wardrobe person, and style a session as closely as possible to a favorite image.  Of course, I'd have to be an older Coco with white hair..so forget it, but I think I'll look around for photos from the 30's to 50's and see what I can find.  Maybe that old hat collection that I found in my grandmother's attic will get used afterall....hmmm
Any ideas?  What is your style?  If you respond I'll offer you a half off session for us to give it a try.

Paws-a-tivly delightful

I have a ton of work to do, but needed some inspiration to start this day...and here it is.  Guaranteed to bring a smile or your money back.
I remember how cold those mornings are in the British Isles and how short the days are this time of year!  Made me shiver a bit watching it.

Great post on Paw Nation!

Great post on Paw Nation!
I love ideas like this...how fun! I guess those cold mornings in the British Isles allow for time to do this stuff!
Enjoy it and pass it on--guaranteed to bring a smile or your money back.

Santa's helper...maybe she needs a vacation??

We had a lot of fun yesterday at the Episcopal Church of St Peter & St Paul in East Cobb, Marietta, GA.  They had a big party for the families with children and Santa paid a visit (aka parishoner, Jack Brown.)  I volunteered to photograph the families with Santa and will be sending each family a disk with an image for them to print and use.
Jack did a great job as Santa, right down to his "ho ho ho" voice!  We had about 90 minutes and photographed over 40 groupings (some adult kids participated, too!)
Thanks to Kim Land, childrens ministry director at the church for inviting me, and for being a good sport letting me take this humorous photograph!  We pulled  it off, Kim!
Thanks to Megan Brown Fason for great decoration for the set.
I'll be mailing each family a disk with an image by the end of this week.
